Summer break is almost over. Students across Lee County head back to class on Tuesday, August 11, according to the school district’s instructional calendar.
Teachers return the week of August 3 to get their classrooms ready. Then it is the kids’ turn the following Tuesday.
The School District of Lee County has a Back to School page on its website to help families start the year strong. You can find bell times, school supply lists and enrollment help at leeschools.net.
A little planning now goes a long way. Set bedtimes back a bit each night this week, label the backpacks, and do a practice run to the bus stop or car line before the big day.
