Every October the Alliance for the Arts campus turns into a Halloween experience, and this year the centerpiece is Summoning the Damned, an immersive haunted house where a séance has loosed the restless spirits of the theatre’s past. Each night pairs the haunted house with a different themed sideshow, so no two visits are quite the same.
The 2026 schedule:
- Thu., Oct. 22 — Game Over!
- Fri., Oct. 23 — Scary Stories
- Sat., Oct. 24 — Rise of the Undead (Zombie Night)
- Wed., Oct. 28 — Bare Bones (discount night, no themed sideshow)
- Thu., Oct. 29 — FreakArt After Dark (community fundraiser)
- Fri., Oct. 30 — Full Scream A Head (intensity night)
- Sat., Oct. 31 — Boos & Booze (Halloween fright night)
The maze is closed Sunday, October 25 through Tuesday, October 27. Two earlier dates round out the season: the haunted house preview on Saturday, October 17 alongside the outdoor screening of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Less Scare, More Care Community Night on Wednesday, October 21, a family-friendly evening with the maze closed.
Member and group discounts are offered. The haunted house is recommended for ages 13 and up and includes strobe lights, fog, loud noises and disturbing themes. Photography and video are not allowed inside, service animals cannot be accommodated in the haunted house, and there are no refunds for early exits.
Nightly details and tickets are at artinlee.org or by calling 239-939-2787.
