After much anticipation, as of Friday, December 5th, the City is excited to celebrate the reopening of Roberto Clemente Park, featuring a brand new, expanded playground and amphitheater stage. The expanded, inclusive playground is in the NW corner of Clemente Park, near where the previous playground was located. The amphitheater stage is located immediately south of the Williams Academy museum, facing Martin Luther King Blvd.

The Lee County Black History Society operates out of Roberto Clemente Park. To connect to the Black History Society, tour the Williams Academy museum, or discuss their upcoming programs please reach out at 239-332-8778 or visit https://www.leecountyblackhistorysociety.org/
