The Lakes Park Splash Pads Are Open Again

Good news for anyone who has been driving past Lakes Park with a hot, restless carload of kids. The splash pads reopened on Wednesday, August 5, after being closed for restoration work.

Lakes Park sits at 7330 Gladiolus Drive in Fort Myers. The splash pads run daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and they switch to 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. when the weather turns cool. The park itself is open from 7 a.m. until dusk.

Parking is $1 per hour or $5 for the whole day. If you already have a Lee County Parks and Recreation Annual Parking Pass, it works here.

A few other things are worth knowing before you go. The first phase of boardwalk repairs is finished and that stretch is open again. Phase 2 is underway now. The miniature train is running weekends only from August 11 through September 30, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., plus Labor Day Monday on September 7.
