Some of Fort Myers’ youngest stars are stepping into the spotlight this weekend. The Alliance for the Arts presents a Youth Theater production of the hit musical RENT, with shows running Friday through Sunday at the Alliance, 10091 McGregor Blvd.
The production gives local young performers a real stage, a live audience, and the chance to tell a powerful story about friendship, community, and following your dreams. For many of the cast members, it is a first taste of live theater. For families and neighbors, it is a chance to cheer them on.
Shows are set for Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 7:30 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. The Alliance for the Arts is a community arts hub that offers classes, exhibits, markets, and performances all year long.
